Assam: Cachar police seized 1.15 kg heroin at Kabuganj in Dholai bordering Mizoram

SILCHAR: Yet another successful drive by the Cachar police as a team led by SP Nomal Mahatta seized huge quantity of heroin at Kabuganj in Dholai bordering Mizoram. Police had arrested three persons from whose vehicles 88 soap cases containing heroin weighing 1.15 kg were recovered. Arrested persons were identified as Baharul Alom Laskar, Ruhul Ahmed Laskar and Nekibur Hussain Laskar. Additional Police Superintendent Subrata Sen in a press briefing said, investigation was on to find out from where they had procured the contraband substances and where they were supposed to deliver the consignment. Police had also seized the vehicle having registration number of Assam
