DIBRUGARH: The Eastern Assam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EACCI) organized a candlelight vigil on Friday at Thana Charali, Dibrugarh, to express solidarity and pay tributes to the innocent victims of the recent tragic Pahalgam terror attack. This symbolic gathering aimed to unite the community in condemning violence and standing together in this moment of national grief.
“We condemn the incident and urge the government to take stern action against Pakistan. It is proven that Pakistan was involved in the terror attack in Pahalgam. The Indian Government should teach a lesson to Pakistan and the terrorists who are behind the attack,” said Bhaskar Gogoi, President of EACCI.
The Pahalgam incident claimed the lives of 26 innocent people on Tuesday when tourists were busy enjoying their vacation at the hill station in Jammu and Kashmir. The entire nation was shocked after the cowardly attack by terrorists.
“Today, we organized the candlelight vigil to pay tribute to the people who were brutally killed in the terrorist attack. We urge the government to take strict action against the terrorists,” said a member of EACCI.
