Guwahati: The Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) which has been delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, will now be conducted in the month of September 20, 2020.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic taking its toll globally, the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) has been postponed yet again! The Assam Science and Technology University has released the revised schedule for conducting the Assam Combined Entrance Examination.

The students would receive the admit cards for the Assam CEE 2020 five days before the examination by September 15, 2020. The Assam CEE 2020 will be conducted from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm IST. The university will declare the results a few days after the exam (that is, on or before September 30, 2020).

The Assam Combined Entrance Examination was initially scheduled to be conducted in the month of April. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the exam was delayed to June 28, 2020, and again to August. Finally, the Member Secretary of the CEE 2020 decided on postponing the Assam CEE exam to the month of September, and the revised dates have now been announced.

For any alteration of the dates regarding the commencement of the Assam CEE 2020, a separate notification will be provided by the respective members concerned, the Member Secretary of CEE 2020 said.

The candidates appearing for the CEE 2020, will be updated about the latest developments, changes, and information related to CEE 2020 by the Assam Science and Technology University through their University website- www.astc.ac.in.

It needs mention here that the Assam Combined Entrance Examination is a state-government controlled centralized entrance examination, conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University for admission into the 5 premier government engineering colleges in Assam. The test is taken after the 12th grade for admission to graduation courses.
