GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extended his New Year 2025 greetings to the people of Assam.

CM Sarma expressed that the New Year is a time that brings fresh hopes and aspirations. He conveyed his belief that 2025 will inspire people from all communities, languages, and religions across the state to move forward and contribute to Assam's progress.

The Chief Minister also expressed his hope that the New Year would further strengthen the bonds of friendship, enabling the people of Assam to play an active role in advancing the state’s socio-economic, cultural, and academic development.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his heartfelt wishes on Wednesday, hoping for a prosperous and joyful New Year.

PM Modi posted on X, "Happy 2025! May this year bring everyone new opportunities, success, and endless joy. May everybody be blessed with wonderful health and prosperity."

President Droupadi Murmu also extended her new year greetings, stating on X, "Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year! May the year 2025 bring joy, harmony, and prosperity to all! On this occasion, let us renew our commitment to work together for creating a brighter, more inclusive, and sustainable future for India and the world."
