Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma along with eminent personalities on Saturday launched 'Modi@20-Dreams Meet Delivery' which is an anthology encompassing the journey of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the last 20 years as the head of a government.

Narendra Modi took over as the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time on October 7 2001 and on October 7, 2021, he completed his 20 years in the electoral politics of Indian democracy working as CM and PM.

''Delighted to attend the Statewide launch of 'Modi @20 Dreams Meet Delivery'. The book narrates how development in India has taken a paradigm shift by becoming more tangible & value-based in the past 20 years under the inspiring leadership of Adarniya PM,'' Sarma said in his address at the state-wide launch of the book at Srimanta Sankardev Kalashetra.

''The book will enable readers to know more about the towering personality of Modi Ji and his vision for a New India which is responsible for unleashing a new socio-economic-academic and cultural empowerment narrative in the nation,'' he added.

Meanwhile, Sarma also urged publishers to translate the book into Assamese to make it convenient for the people of Assam to know more about Modi ji's inspiring personality.

''This book has several articles written by eminent personalities who have closely known Modi Ji.

I request the publisher to translate this resourceful book into Assamese to make it convenient for people of Assam to know more about Modi ji's inspiring personality,'' he tweeted.

Speaking on the occasion PV Sindhu who has also written a chapter said that Modi ji is always so encouraging and supportive.

''After my Bronze & Silver medals at international events, Modiji encouraged me to go for Gold by saying why can't it happen. I won Gold in 2019. Thereafter, he fulfilled his promise by offering me ice cream,'' added.
