Assam CM Himanta Biswa Urges Union Minister to Setup Indian Institute of Fashion Technology in Guwahati

CM Sarma also discussed increasing the frequency of Rajdhani Express till Agartala for the convenience of passengers.

Guwahati: Assam chief minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma has requested the union minister of state for railway and textile Darshana Jardosh to set up a fashion technology in Guwahati. Informing this matter, CM Sarma on his Twitter wrote, "Welcomed Union MoS, Railways & Textiles, Smt @DarshanaJardosh in Ghy. Deliberated on railway electrification, doubling of tracks & construction of flyovers across railway tracks in Assam. Requested her for an elevated corridor in Deepor Beel area for the protection of elephants".
