GUWAHATI: In a recent visit to Nalbari, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma unveiled ambitious plans to revamp the revered Shree Shree Billbeshwar Devaloy, promising a stunning transformation for this historic site. Speaking at the temple located in Belsor, Nalbari, CM Sarma disclosed that he had already held discussions with regional legislator Chandra Mohan Patowary to kickstart the redevelopment process promptly.

The Chief Minister emphasized the Assam government's commitment to crafting a comprehensive master plan to breathe new life into Billbeshwar Devaloy. The proposal signifies a significant step toward preserving the rich cultural heritage and enhancing the visual appeal of this ancient temple.

Addressing the congregation at the temple, CM Sarma also shared insights into his relationship with Supriya Sule, a Member of Parliament from Maharashtra and the daughter of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Sharad Pawar.
