Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma to visit Silchar on Apr 26

SILCHAR: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma is set to arrive at Silchar on April 26 to campaign for the BJP for the ensuing Panchayat election.

A district BJP source said that Himanta Biswa Sarma would address a rally in Haticherra Model High School Ground. Minister Kaushik Rai, along with district BJP leaders, inspected the ground on Monday.

The Chief Minister was scheduled to address another election rally on April 27 in Hailakandi district, a source in the ruling party said. Another rally might be held in Nilambazar in Sribhumi on the same day.
