Assam: Cop Found Hanging In Game Village Apartment Of Guwahati
According to sources, Sutradhar was discovered hanged in his temporary apartment in the Basistha neighborhood's Game village, where he had come for police training.
GUWAHATI: On Wednesday morning in Guwahati, a police officer from the Assam province is said to have been discovered hanging in his lodgings. Romen Sutradhar, the deceased, was a resident of the Baksa area in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
According to sources, Sutradhar was discovered hanged in his temporary apartment in the Basistha neighborhood's Game village, where he had come for police training. It has not yet been determined why he took such drastic action. Local law enforcement arrived at the scene in the interim and removed the body for an autopsy. Additional research is being done.
A woman and two of her sons reportedly leaped into a river on Tuesday afternoon in Baihati Chariali in Assam's Kamrup Rural district in another alleged suicide attempt. The incident happened in the neighbourhood of Aathgaon, close to the Puthimari River. Locals came to the aid of one of the sons, but the mother and the other son were unaccounted for as of the time of this story. Their unusual behavior's origin is yet unknown.
