
HAFLONG: In a shocking turn of event, the lifeless body of Nobo Kumar Langthasa was found near the old G.C. Langthasa school building in Mahadevtilla this morning.
The shocking discovery was made when the dead body was recovered inside an auto-rickshaw bearing registration number AS 08C 3658.
The money bag of the deceased individual was reported to be missing from the spot which has sparked speculations of a possible murder. Langthasa's family members have suspected foul play and have called for a thorough investigation to unravel the truth.
The police promptly arrived at the scene and have initiated a detailed probe to uncover further details into this case. This incident has raised serious concerns among locals regarding safety and security in the area.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, a young man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at a lodge in Guwahati's Six Mile area. The deceased was identified as Mrinal Medhi, a resident of Chandmari. As per reports, Mrinal had checked into the lodge on the evening of March 4 at around 7 PM.
Later, around midnight, the hotel reception reportedly received a phone call, allegedly from Mrinal's girlfriend. However, the exact cause of his death remains unclear. Police have launched an investigation to ascertain whether any foul play was involved in the incident.
