Assam: Demow students pass with flying colours in HSLC exam 2025

The result of the HSLC Examination 2025 was declared today where students of Demow schools passed with flying colours.

DEMOW: The result of the HSLC Examination 2025 was declared today where students of Demow schools passed with flying colours. Sivasagar district topped the pass percentage in the HSLC Examination with 85.55 percent.

In St. Mary’s High School, a total of 46 students appeared in the HSLC Examination 2025, out of which 8 students secured distinction marks and 16 students secured star marks with letter marks in different subjects. Sneha Chetia secured 539 and topped in St. Mary’s High School, Gulfa Yasin Akhtar Hussain secured 533 marks and became second highest, and Ayushman Chetia secured 528 marks and became third highest in the school. 4 students of St. Mary’s High School who secured 100 marks in Advanced Mathematics subject were Abhinash Gogoi, Gaurav Ranjan Konwar, Ritom Phukan, and Pranchi Phukan.

In Hemchandra Borgohain Model English High School, 2 students appeared in the HSLC Examination and both students secured second division.

In Demow Senior Secondary School, a total of 40 students appeared, 1 student secured distinction marks, and 3 students secured star marks with letter marks in different subjects.

In Science Academy, Demow, a total of 27 Students appeared, 5 students secured distinction marks, and 6 students secured star marks with letter marks in different subjects. Kunhi Konwar secured 95.33 percent and topped in Science Academy, Samikhya Chetia secured 94.50 percent and became the second highest, and Shatadru Sarmah secured 90.33 percent and became the third highest in the academy. Kunhi Konwar, Samikhya Chetia, Shatadru Sarmah, and Hemraj Kashyap of Science Academy, Demow secured 100 marks in the Advanced Mathematics subject.
