Assam: Dibrugarh Journalist Lalit Sharma Bags National Shrujan Award

DIBRUGARH: Senior journalist and writer Lalit Sharma of Dibrugarh, Assam was awarded the Outstanding Shrujan Award in the All India Poetry Writing Competition organized by Rashtriya Hindi Raksha Manch Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The results of the National Poetry Competition were announced recently.

The theme of the competition was ‘Women’s flight of freedom.’ ‘Ram Bhakti mein Kanchan Kunwari’ was the poem which was selected by the committee for which Lalit Sharma received the award. The organizers also sent letters of appreciation to Sanjay Burma Manawar for the best poem in this competition.

A total of 12 participants took part in the competition, including competitors from Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. Certificates were awarded to the first, second, and third place winners.
