Dhubri: Dhubri District Day was celebrated with a day-long programme under the auspices of Dhubri district administration in the auditorium of Dhubri Police Hall on Friday.

Dhubri Deputy Commissioner, Anbamuthan MP delivered welcome speech and said that this was the first occasion that District Day was being celebrated to showcase its long glorious history and heritage. "Being a numismatist, I see history through the old coins of rulers which not only speak of the economy, trade and prevalent history of that time but a lot of other things," Bose added.
