Doomdooma Senior Citizens Association (DSCA) felicitated 22 former teachers of the organization with certificates of appreciation and gamosas at a function held at Doomdooma Natya Mandir on Tuesday .
DOOMDOOMA: Doomdooma Senior Citizens Association (DSCA) felicitated 22 former teachers of the organization with certificates of appreciation and gamosas at a function held at Doomdooma Natya Mandir on Tuesday . The event was presided over by Gobinda Phookan, President of DSCA and was anchored by Secretary Prakash Narayan Patoary.
Journalist Dhiren Deka delivered a lecture on the life and achievements of educationist, philosopher and statesman Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as appointed speaker. Former teachers Nirala Chaudhury, Punyalata Koch, Bimala Barua, Dr Abdul Qadir and Birendra Hazarika also addressed the meeting.
