GUWAHATI: A horrifying fire broke out in Guwahati's Silver Square Building, located in Christian Basti on 11th of February, Saturday. As per sources, the fire erupted at around 11 am in the morning. 

As soon as the information was received by the fire station, a team of firefighters rushed to the spot of incident and tranquillised the situation. The actual cause of fire is yet to be ascertained by concerned authorities. However, it has been suspected that the fire must have evoked from a vehicle that was under repair. 

The blaze from that particular vehicle had spread to the other parked vehicles in a blink of an eye. The fire reportedly broke out at the parking lot of the building and several vehicles stationed nearby got destroyed in the unfortunate episode. 

As per the reports, no casualties have been reported but vehicles worth lakhs of rupees were gutted down in the episode. 

A shocking incident occurred on Wednesday, where a sudden fire erupted in the AC bogie of Avadh Assam Express. The episode took place near Ramdayalu Railway Gumti in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, on Wednesday evening. As per the reports, the smoke began to rise from the B-2 bogie of Avadh Assam Express. 

The train was approaching towards Lagarh from Dibrugarh, when the incident occurred. The train started to move from Muzaffarpur railway station, however, after a covering a tiny distance, passengers inside the bogie received burning smell and saw smoke nearby. As a result, individuals inside the train started to panic and rushed towards a safer spot. 

The train stopped immediately at Ramdayalu station. Passengers started jumping off the train to save themselves from the burning flames. Fortunately, the fire was calmed in a short span of time and the scenario was converted to normal again. As per sources, the exact cause of incident is yet to be ascertained, however it has been suspected that the fire was triggered by some sort of short circuit. 

Police informed that no individual were harmed or injured during the episode.
