Assam: Four nominated MACs of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council take oath

Howraghat: The four nominated MACs of 13th Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) on Friday took oath in presence of Deputy Commissioner of Karbi Anglong district, Chief Executive Member (CEM) Tuliram Ronghang, chairman Raju Tisso and Principal Secretary of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, at the new Secretariat, KAAC. The four newly-nominated MACs are Mukut Mahanta, Dr Mongve Rongpi, Phenpiga H Rengma and Krishna Bahadur Chetry. The oath was administered by Birsing Engti, Joint Secretary, Legislative, KAAC. During the oath-taking ceremony, all 26 elected MACs were present.
