DOOMDOOMA: Under the auspices of Bir Raghav Moran Government Model (BRMGM) College, Rupaisiding, and in association with Rotary Club of Doomdooma, RC Agarwal Multi-speciality Hospital, Tinsukia, and 30-Bedded FRU hospital, Doomdooma, a free health check-up camp only for senior citizens was held at the college premises under its social responsibility scheme on Friday.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Pranab Jyoti Deka, President, Governing Body (GB) of the college, while Arjun Baruah, former President, Tinsukia Zila Xahitya Xabha, lit the ceremonial lamp. The camp offered specialised medical services on cardiology, orthopaedics, and medicine; free ECG; free check-up of blood sugar, blood pressure, and pulse; and supply of free medicine for certain cases. A team of doctors consisting of Dr. Anil Nandamuri, Dr. Chandan Raye, Dr. Samudra Rajkhowa, and Dr. Nirban Gogoi treated 285 patients in the camp.
