SATNA: A tragic incident occurred in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district, where a 16-year-old student from Assam identified as Pratibha Bhagwar was found dead in her hostel room. Pratibha had been staying in Satna for the last six months to pursue her studies. It was on Sunday evening that the staff of the missionary hostel found her unresponsive and immediately shifted her to a nearby hospital, where she was declared dead upon arrival.

The local police authorities have begun a post-mortem to identify the cause of her death. But the school authorities and members of the minority organization operating the hostel have not given any concrete information about the conditions that led to the occurrence, which has raised an alarm within the community.

In light of the situation, volunteers from right-wing organizations have alleged potential foul play and are calling for a thorough investigation into the matter. The police have informed Pratibha's family, who are currently en route to Satna and are expected to arrive by Tuesday.

Satna Superintendent of Police Ashutosh Gupta has confirmed that a case of unnatural death has been registered. He added, "The minor student from Assam was found dead in her hostel room. A thorough investigation is on. Nothing suspicious has come to the fore till now, but we are pursuing our investigations."

As the investigation goes on, the public is on high alert, calling for explanations regarding the tragic fate of the young student's death.
