Assam Girl In Search of Job, Raped And Thrown Out Of Window In Rajasthan

NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident in Rajasthan, a girl from Assam was allegedly gang-raped and was later thrown out of the window from a hotel room.

The distressing incident took place on Friday 11 February in the Churu district of Rajasthan. The girl is from Dhubri district of Assam.

The young woman from the northeastern state of Assam was thrown from the first floor of the hotel building after she was raped by a group of men.

According to reports the 25-year-old girl was residing in Rohini of the national capital Delhi and went to Churu following certain job opportunities.

One of the rape accused had met the girl and offered her job in Rajasthan's Churu by making promises in providing employment.

As per information from the four accused the girl went to Churu with the hope of getting a job but she had no idea about their real intentions.

She was taken to a hotel room and then the four accused allegedly tied her hands and feet to rape and threw out of the window.

However, the girl survived as she got stuck in an electric rope poll when she was thrown from the building.

After receiving information about the incident the police personnel reached the spot and took the woman to the hospital for a medical checkup. The medical examination of the girl was done in a government hospital.

Later on Friday 11 February, a case has been filed against the four accused on the basis of the statement provided by the victim.

The victim girl shared with police whatever happened with her as she informed that all four had badly beaten her, tied her and threw her from the balcony.

Following the case, police arrested four youths identified as Bhavani Singh, Devendra Singh, Sunil Rajput and Vikram Singh all from Rajasthan.

All four have been charged under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal code that is sexual assault and fracas and further investigation is going on.
