Assam Government Invites Public To Showcase Unique Gift Ideas At Advantage Assam 2.0

GUWAHATI: The Government of Assam has invited artisans, entrepreneurs, startups, and creators from across the state to submit unique gift ideas for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0: Infrastructure and Investment Summit 2025.

The summit, set for February 25-26, 2025, in Guwahati, will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and will feature global leaders and investors. The goal is to showcase Assam's rich culture, heritage, and craftsmanship through locally inspired, thoughtfully curated gifts for distinguished guests.

Key Submission Criteria:

• Compact & Convenient: Gifts that are easy to carry and elegantly packaged.

• Globally Competitive: Items that meet international quality standards and have unique appeal.

• Locally Inspired: Products that reflect Assam's vibrant traditions and culture.

• Practical & Memorable: Useful gifts that create a lasting impression.

• Liquid Items: If offering liquid products, they must be under 50 ml and securely packaged.

Submission and Selection Process:

Participants are encouraged to submit their ideas via the official platform, where they will undergo a selection process based on creativity, cultural significance, and practical utility.

1. Initial Screening: A panel of experts will assess the ideas based on creativity, practicality, and how well they align with the summit’s objectives.

2. Presentations: Shortlisted individuals or entities will be invited to present their concepts. The final selection of gift items will then be made.

The selected gift items will be procured at prevailing market rates, providing participants with an excellent opportunity to showcase their work and gain recognition for their craftsmanship.
