SIVASAGAR: The Assam Government has launched a historic initiative ‘Arohan’ aimed at ensuring the overall development of students by providing career counselling and mentorship. Under the leadership of the Assam Chief Minister, this programme specifically targets outstanding students from Class 9 in government schools, guiding them towards achieving their life goals.
A grand event was organized at the Sukafa Conference Hall of the Sivasagar District Commissioner’s Office under the initiative of the Sivasagar District Administration and the Education Department. The event was dedicated to students enrolled in the Arohan Scheme who appeared for the 2024-25 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination.
As part of the initiative, 147 students were provided with Samsung Tablet PCs by the Assam Government to support their educational progress. The distribution was led by the District Commissioner of Sivasagar Aayush Garg. The event was also attended by Additional District Commissioner Meenakshi Permey, Assistant Commissioners Subhajit Khound, and Ganesh Chandra Baro.
