Assam Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi to visit Chirang

KOKRAJHAR: Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi will visit Chirang district on June 5. This will be his second visit to the district. During his visit, the Governor will participate in the ceremonial plantation programme to be organized on the occasion of World Environment Day by 15 BN SSB at their Kajalgaon headquarter and will address the participants on the significance of World Environment Day. Then, he will chair a meeting to be held on law and order and other issues with the Administrator of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Principal Secretary, BTC, IGP, BTAD, Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, other security agencies and heads of development departments followed by meeting with delegations of various organizations in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner's office. Finally, he will address the media at the conference hall of Manas Guest House, Bongaigaon Oil Refinery Township, Dhaligaon.
