DIBRUGARH: Hindu Kranti Dal, Dibrugarh on Saturday took out a procession on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The procession started from old railway station Hanuman Mandir and passed through the main routes of Dibrugarh.
The members participated in the rally with colourful attire. Women and children participated in the procession chanting “Jai Sri Ram, Jai Hanuman”.
Former Union Railway minister(MoS) Rajen Gohain participated in the rally along with other members.
“We have organised the procession on the ocassion of Hanuman Jayanti. Hanuman Jayanti was observed on the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman. Large number of devotees participated in the procession wearing traditional attire,” said a member of Hindu Kranti Dal.
Similarly, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal (BD) also organized a procession to mark the ocassion. The members of Hindu outfit performed puja and rituals at Thanachariali Hanuman Mandir before the procession.
