TEZPUR: A total of 139 individuals from Arunachal Pradesh are among the 10,000 special guests invited from across India to witness the Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, on January 26, 2025. These distinguished guests, celebrated as the architects of 'Swarnim Bharat,' represent diverse backgrounds and include top performers in various fields, beneficiaries of government schemes, and achievers who have significantly contributed to their communities.
Defence PRO, Tezpur informed that, the categories of special guests from Arunachal Pradesh include BRO road construction workers, guests from Vibrant Villages (MHA) such as GPCs and coordinators, best-performing SHG members from Vibrant Villages, Anganwadi workers involved in handicrafts, best-performing Pani Samitis in drinking water and sanitation, My Bharat volunteers from the Department of Youth Affairs, and best-performing community resource persons and SHG members from the Department of Rural Development. Other invitees include forest and wildlife conservation volunteers and workers from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, beneficiaries of the PM-Vishwakarma Yojana and PM-KUSUM Scheme, handloom artisans, best-performing water warriors, participants in Mann Ki Baat, and additional guests from Vibrant Villages.
