Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) stages sit-in in front of DC office of Biswanath

JAMUGURIHAT: The Biswanath district committee of Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) staged a 3-hour sit-in in front the office of the Deputy Commissioner of Biswanath on Thursday in support of their demands. The Biswanath district committee of AJP staged the demonstration demanding immediate rehabilitation of the landless people of Laika and Dodhia villages, flood and erosion affected people of the State and for the implementation of the Hari Sankar Brahma Committee report. Duldul Borkataky, the assistant general secretary of AJP, and other AJP leaders took part in the protest.
