

GUWAHATI: On March 24 in Tezpur, Assam, a man was mercilessly lynched to death by a gang of criminals.
According to sources, at least seven individuals attacked the victim, identified as Habibur Rahman, in the Zorgorh Chariali neighbourhood of Tezpur due to a possible land dispute.
Rahman unfortunately passed away as a result of his wounds, according to reports. Meanwhile, the victim's family members have claimed that Jiabur Rahman, the AJP leader, was involved for the murder and have called for his arrest and the worst legal penalties.
Local police later located the deceased to do a post-mortem. So yet, there have been no captures. The enquiry is ongoing.
This month, a thief severely injured a 7-year-old youngster by stabbing him in the Chamra Gudam area of Silchar. Tragically, the kid suffered injuries and eventually died at the Silchar Medical College Hospital (SMCH).
Apu Mazumdar, a 30-year-old suspect, has been detained by police. According to sources, the accused first tried to kill the mother of the kid because of a land dispute, but she managed to escape with a serious gash to her hand. In front of his mother, the young youngster was present. The official said that the attacker grabbed him and stabbed him in the back.
Once a video of the attack went viral on social media, the police detained the alleged attacker right away.
An man was detained by Assam police on Friday night for reportedly killing a class 12 girl in the Karimganj district. The incident reportedly took place at the district’s Kaliganj Dalfa village.
Monowara Begum has been identified as the victim girl. Police claimed that the accused man's residence had the girl's body lying in front of it when they arrested him.
The motive for the suspected murder has not yet been determined. In the interim, a case was filed against the accused under the pertinent laws.
