Assam: Man Stabs Wife with Machete in Jamuguri

JAMUGURIHAT: One Bhaben Tanti, a resident of Milanpur, Karchantala, under Jamuguri Police Station, stabbed his wife Sanjana Tanti with a machete on Thursday night at around 8pm. The local residents immediately informed 108 emergency services after which a grievously-injured Sanjana was taken to the hospital in a critical condition. A team of Jamuguri Police reached the site and arrested Bhaben Tanti in the night itself. According to information, the quarrel began between the two due to some family issues.
