In order to play five one-day matches against the Namibian national side, the Assam men's cricket team is scheduled to travel to Namibia for a rare foreign tour. The team trained at a six-day camp, concentrating on match simulations and adjusting to possible winter weather conditions in Namibia. After playing club teams on a prior trip in 2018, this is Assam's first tour against a national team. The team is anxious to play, and the coach was excited about the event.

As part of their preseason preparation, the players are excited to depart for their tour and are prepared to play five one-day matches against Namibia's men's national team. For any Indian team, this is one of the most uncommon international trips.
A 6-day camp at ACA stadium in Barsapara, Guwahati, from June 11–16, prepared the five-member team, who would be led by young batter Danish Das on their African tour under the guidance of Assam U19 coach Subhrajit Saikia.

On a personal level, Saikia is excited to coach the cheerful team while they are on tour, but he will also be delighted to mentor the U19 guys when he returns home.
