Assam-Nagaland border meeting held at ONGC DSA Conference Hall

GAURISAGAR: In view of conduct of smooth and peaceful Assam Assembly Election, Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Bishnu Kamal Borah on Friday held a meeting with the visiting high-level administrative and police officials from three districts of Nagaland, viz, Mon, Longleng and Mokokchung at the ONGC DSA Conference Hall, Gelekey.

During the meeting, after thorough discussions on various inter-district border issues, the officials from the three districts of Nagaland agreed to extend full cooperation for peaceful conduct of the ensuing assembly election. The meeting was also attended by the Superintendent of Police, Sivasagar, Amitava Sinha, Subdivisional Officer (Civil), Nazira, Lakhimi Dutta, Subdivisional Police Officer, Nazira, Pradip Konwar, Border Magistrate, Nazira, Rajib Sonowal and a host of administrative and police officials.
