
NAGAON: In a series of coordinated anti-narcotics operations, the Nagaon Police have successfully seized a significant amount of suspected heroin across various locations under its jurisdiction. These operations have led to the arrest of multiple individuals involved in the illicit narcotics trade.
The first operation took place at Dhing Police Station, where a team searched and found 15 plastic containers with suspected heroin, weighing 9.34 grams in total. The police quickly arrested the suspect and have started legal action to hold them responsible for their involvement in the drug trade.
In a parallel operation, the Khatowal Police Station team carried out a successful raid, leading to the recovery of 9 plastic containers filled with suspected heroin. The total weight of the seized drugs was 1.7 grams and the accused was arrested.
In another anti-drug operation, the Kathiatoli Police Post team found 9 plastic containers with suspected heroin, weighing 16.20 grams in total. The person involved was arrested, and the police have quickly started legal action to make sure the person is charged for being part of the illegal drug trade.
These operations are part of a broader effort by the police to ensure the safety and security of the public by disrupting the distribution and consumption of illegal drugs.
