Assam: New Book "Chupahi" by Suren Bora Launched on Eve of Rongali Bihu

Bokakhat: On the eve of Rongali Bihu, a new book was launched on Saturday at Gariya Borpathar of Mohura Mouza. The book, titled “Chupahi”, written by local resident Suren Bora, was unveiled at an event held at the Borpathar Milan Kala Kristi Bikash Kendra.

The ceremony was presided over by Maheshwar Saikia, former president of the Golaghat District Literary Society. The book was officially released by retired headmistress Beena Saikia of Srimanta Sankardev High School.

Retired veterinary officer Dr. Ranjit Bora addressed the gathering as the keynote speaker and expressed his appreciation to author Suren Bora for his valuable contribution.
