Assam: New Demow Anchalik Panchayat president takes charge

DEMOW: Somikshya Borboruah took charge as the president of Demow Anchalik Panchayat and Binapani Manki as vice president on Thursday. They joined in the presence of Sushanta Borgohain, MLA of 95 No. Demow constituency, Bitupon Raidongia, President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Sivasagar district, Bornali Gogoi, BDO of Demow Development Block, Pallabita Barua Gogoi, Chairman of Demow Municipal Board, Mrinal Phukan, President of Nitai Panidehing Mandal BJP, Krishna Koiry, President of Demow Mandal, along with district and Mandal officials.
