Assam: One Killed, 3 Injured After BTR Chief's Escort Vehicle Meets With Accident

Guwahati: One police officer was killed and three others were injured after an escort vehicle of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Chief Pramod Boro met with an accident.

The accident took place at the 11th mile in Assam's Tamulpur district on Tuesday night.

The cop who was killed was identified as Raju Kalita (33), while the three injured were identified as Brazen Rajbongshi, Utpal Patgiri, and Prakash Das.

Following the accident, injured personnel were immediately admitted to the Swasti Hospital, Rangia.

Reportedly, the escort vehicle was on its way to Rangia from Tamulpur, when the escort vehicle lost control and fell into the ditch.
