Assam: ONGC Engineer Killed In Accident

Guwahati: In an unfortunate incident, on Sunday, an engineer of the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) reportedly lost his life in an accident.

According to reports, the accident took place at one of ONGC's drilling sites in the Kalapani area in the Jorhat district.

The deceased engineer identified as Saurabh Jyoti Pathak. He was a resident of the Pokamura area in Jorhat.

Following the accident, the engineer suffered a head injury and was immediately rushed to Jorhat Medical College Hospital (JMCH), however, upon reaching, he was declared brought dead.

The engineer is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son.
