Assam: Ornamental Tree Saplings Planted in B.Ed College, Dhubri

DHUBRI: A nature-based organization, Golapi Green, in collaboration with Dhubri BEd College located at the outskirts of Dhubri town, planted over 300 ornamental saplings in the campus of the college on Sunday. While inaugurating the plantation programme, president of College Management Committee and Chairman of the Dhubri Municipal Board Dr Debamoy Sanyal, spoke at length on the importance and need of greening the Earth to reduce the impact of global warming. Dr Sanyal also stressed on looking after and nursing the seedlings in the proper way, so that they grew up without any mortality.
