Assam: Pabitra Margherita Is New Political Secretary of CM Himanta Biswa Sarma
From 2017 to 2021, Margherita served as the Chairman of Jyoti Chitraban, the film studio located in Guwahati.
Guwahati: Pabitra Margherita, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, has been appointed as the Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Margherita replaced Jayanta Mallabaruah, who was in charge of the post.
Presently, he is an MP in the Rajya Sabha and won the polls that were held on March 31 with 46 votes.
Margherita is also serving as a spokesperson of the Assam BJP since 2014 and prior to this, he had also served as Prabhari of Social Media Cell, Assam BJP, and Zila Prabhari of Kamrup (North) District BJP.
From 2107 to 2021, Margherita served as the Chairman of Jyoti Chitraban, the film studio located in Guwahati.
