Assam: Pistol recovered; one arrested in Barpeta

Barpeta: Ramjan Ali of Duttakuchi was caught with one pistol which was stolen from a SSB camp. According to a report, in a joint operation of Howly and Barpeta police, Ramjan Ali was caught with the gun. Barpeta police stated that Ramjan Ali had worked under a contractor at an SSB camp situated Indo- Bhutan boarder and the gun was stolen from that camp by Ramjan Ali before Eid. He was caught red handed while he was selling the pistol. A case (U/S 250/25/25-1A Indian Panel Code( IPC)) was filed by the police and the investigation is on.
