Assam poet Biman Bora remembered at Dekorai HSS premises

JAMUGURIHAT: Poet Biman Bora, an assistant teacher of Dekorai HSS who died recently was remembered in a public meeting held at Dekorai HSS premises with Mallika Bhuyan, principal of the school in the chair on Saturday. In this connection, a memorabilia compiled on the life and literary contributions of poet Biman Bora was released by Prabhakar Barman, retired subject teacher of Singri HSS. Dhaneshwar Bora, retired professor of Biswanath College graced the occasion as a distinguished guest who had highlighted the life and poetic contributions of late poet Biman Bora. Rupam Bora, subject teacher of Dekorai HSS conducted the proceedings of the memorial meeting. The meeting was attended by well wishers of poet Biman Bora and dignitaries.
