Assam Police Announces Transfers of Inspectors (UB) In Guwahati

The Office of the Commissioner of Police has transferred several Inspectors to new positions in the Guwahati Police Commissionerate to improve policing and maintain law and order.

GUWAHATI: In a recent move to enhance the efficiency, the Office of the Commissioner of Police has announced the transfer of several Inspectors (UB) to new positions at various police stations. The newly appointed officers are as follows:

Inspector (UB) Manuj Borah has been posted as the Officer-in-Charge of Sonapur Police Station, Inspector (UB) Kapil Pathak will take over as the Officer-in-Charge of Basistha Police Station, Inspector (UB) Sankar Jyoti Nath has been appointed as the Officer-in-Charge of Panbazar Police Station, Inspector (UB) Mukut Baishya will serve as an Officer at Fatasil Ambari Police Station, Inspector (UB) Kuleshjypti Bhuyan has been posted as the Officer-in-Charge of Paltanbazar Police Station, Inspector (UB) Bhaskar Malla Patowary will take charge as the Officer-in-Charge of Dispur Police Station, Inspector (UB) Phanidhar Ch Nath has been assigned as the Officer-in-Charge of Azara Police Station, Woman Inspector (UB) Janumoni Kalita will serve as the Officer-in-Charge of Chandmari Police Station, Inspector (UB) Vikram Basumatary has been appointed as the Officer-in-Charge of Gorchuk Police Station.

The officers have been directed to join their new postings immediately.
