
RANGIA: In a major development, Himanshu Kakati and Amulya Lahkar, the main suspects in the Rangia picnic incident, have been taken into custody by Rangiya police. A significant development in the current investigation occurred when the arrests were made in Dhekiajuli during a late-night raid.
In his briefing to the media, Inspector General of Assam Police (Law and Order), PK Bhuyan, confirmed the arrests and highlighted the extensive manhunt that resulted in their arrest.
