
LAKHIMPUR: Lakhimpur Police organized a training session on the “New Criminal Laws” for UB/AB Constables of the District at NL College Auditorium.
Similarly, a training program on "New Criminal Laws" was held on January 4 for the UB/AB personnel of Darrang DEF, Kamrup DEF, and Nalbari DEF at the Police Reserve in Darrang, Mangaldai. The session focused on educating the personnel about the latest updates and changes in criminal laws.
This initiative is aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of law enforcement officers to ensure better implementation of the law in their respective areas. The training was attended by officers from the three districts and is part of ongoing efforts to improve police efficiency and legal awareness.
Meanwhile, an awareness program on the implementation of three new criminal laws was organized by the Sivasagar District Police in Demow Police Station last year in July. An awareness meeting was organized where Pritam Das, Demow Circle Officer, was in the chair. Manuranjan Gogoi, OC of Demow Police Station, spoke about the aims of the meeting.
Jadumoni Kalita anchored the program. Moidul Islam, Additional SP of Sivasagar District, spoke broadly about the new laws and made the people present in the awareness meeting aware.
