Assam police organises online essay and yoga competition for students

Guwahati: Assam police is organising an online essay and yoga competition for students on the occasion of Assam Police Day on October 1. The competition is divided into junior as well as senior category. The junior category includes any students from Class VIII to Class X while the Senior category includes all the students from Class XI till degree final year.

The topic of the essay competition is ''Your views on Assam Police in terms of sensitivity and efficiency and your suggestions to improve on the gaps''

For the yoga competition each participant will be given to choose any of the four asanas—Sarvangasana, Ushtrasana, Bhujangasana, Vrikshasana and shoot a video up to 1 minute.

The last day of submission is September 26.

The interested participants have been asked to submit their entries at https://assampoliceday.org.

The Assam Police team took to Twitter to announce the prize amount- Rs. 10, 000 for the winner, Rs 9,000 for first runners up and Rs 8,000 for second runners up and Rs 5,000 each as a consolation prize.
