Assam Police Personnel Killed In Road Accident In Dergaon

Guwahati: In yet another case of road accident, an Assam police official was killed on Sunday in Dergaon.

The police officer was identified as Mrigen Bora who was posted in Jorhat.

According to reports, Bora on Sunday was heading towards Dergaon on his motorcycle and suddenly he lost control of his two-wheeler and rammed into an electric post on the road side.

The nearby locals tried to take him to the hospital but he died before reaching the hospital as he received injuries on his head.

Reportedly, Bora had been building a house in his home town Dergaon and as soon as he would get the day off, he would visit his home town to look at his under-construction house.

A few days back, in a tragic incident, that occurred in NH-127, three people were killed by a truck in an accident in Baska district.

As per reports, two children and a female teacher died on the spot.

The incident occurred in Simla- Daodhora area when the teacher along with two children was on their way home on a two-wheeler.
