Udalguri: The Udalguri police unearthed 31 kgs of explosives from Uttar Naobandha area in Anadabazar under Dimakuchi Police Station. The explosives, which are suspected to be high explosive TNT (a pale yellow, solid organic nitrogen compound used as explosive) were recovered at 2 AM on Tuesday.

The explosives were kept in two buckets and were wrapped with plastic.

The information was shared via Twitter by Assam's Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) GP Singh. He tweeted, "On 03.11.20 at about 2 am, @udalguripolice unearthed 31 KGs of explosive in two buckets wrapped with plastic from Uttar Naobandha, Anadabazar under Dimakuchi PS. Suspected to be high explosive TNT."
