Assam Pradesh Congress Committee took out rally against CAA in Goalpara

Goalpara: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee in collaboration with its Goalpara district chapter, took out a rally against the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 in Goalpara town on Monday. APCC president Ripun Bora and leaders Rokibul Hussain, Ajanta Neog, Bobeeta Sarma, Nurul Huda, Congress MLAs AK Rasid Alom and Abdur Rasid Mondal and thousands of Congress activists participated in the event. Clad in beautiful Assamese traditional dress, the leaders shouted slogans against the BJP government and demanded that it should be scrapped. The rally marched from the Khagendranath Bhavan to the Chandariapathar High School playground, near the residence of East Goalpara MLA AK Rasid Alom.
