Hojai: Shri Marwari Panchayati celebrated Ram Navami at Sri Ram Mandir in Lanka under Hojai district with religious fervour on Sunday. Priest Bishnu Shastri performed the puja, following all Vedic rituals.

Speaking to The Sentinel, Raj Kumar Agarwal, president of Shri Marwari Panchayati, Lanka, along with other members, said that the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami was celebrated with great enthusiasm. He added that devotees prayed to Lord Ram for blessings of peace and prosperity in the country. It is pertinent to mention that a large number of devotees thronged the temple and offered prayers at the Ram Darbar.
