Assam Rifles conducted cleanliness drive at Lokra

JAMUGURIHAT: The Lokra Battalion, under the aegis of Headquarters 21 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), conducted a cleanliness drive at Lokra, near Balipara on Monday. The drive was conducted to promote Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and to encourage the local people to keep making efforts in eradicating dirtiness from society, thereby keeping the surroundings clean and hygienic. The event was also aimed at inculcating a positive attitude among local people towards healthy sanitation practices. A total of 125 Assam Rifles personnel participated in the drive with full zeal and enthusiasm.
