Assam Rifles Facilitates Surrender Of Three Militants In Dima Hasao District

Dima Hasao: Assam Rifles facilitated the surrender of three active cadres of of banned militant outfit here in Assam's Dima Hasao on Saturday.

Of these three cadres, two cadres are of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Isak Muivah (NSCN-IM), while one belongs to Kuki Tribals Union (KTU).

Taking to the micro-blogging site Twitter, the Assam Rifles shared information in this regard.

"Haflong Battalion of #AssamRifles, on 16 Jul 2022, facilitated the surrender of two active cadres of #NSCN (IM) and one active cadre of #KTU in Dima Hasao District, Assam," Assam Rifles tweeted.

As per reports, these cadres had surrendered before the Assam Rifles during a separate operation in the state by Assam Rifles.
