Assam Rifles organized an awareness lecture on malaria in Sonitpur

JAMUGURIHAT: Assam Rifles under HQ Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organized an awareness lecture on malaria prevention on Wednesday at Bamgaon under Sonitpur district.

The lecture was delivered by Assistant Commandant Dr Aanchal Riyal, Medical Officer of Assam Rifles. The aim of the event was to spread awareness about the adverse effects of malaria, precautions to prevent it and its cure.

The attendees were also provided with anti-malaria medicines. The lecture was attended by 103 villagers.
