Assam Rifles organizes lecture on 'Nasha Mukti' in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Lokra Battalion organized a lecture on 'Nasha Mukti' at Gyan Bikash Academy, Forest Gate, Chardwar in the Sonitpur district. The lecture was organized with an aim to spread awareness among the youths regarding use of drugs and its disadvantages. Special emphasis was laid upon all aspects of drug abuse prevention, including assessment of the extent of the problem, preventive action, treatment and rehabilitation of addicts and dissemination of information about the campaign. A total of eight teachers and 84 students of the school attended the lecture.
